Around 1998 I started teaching myself all about HTML and Photoshop and I haven't looked back. I started out doing a very simple site about myself and my friends and it just kind of took off from there. My breakout site was one I did for an online gaming clan and soon after I started receiving requests to do sites for other people... so many that I had to start turning people away since the workload was just too much for a simple hobby. I did, however, start to develop a portfolio of work that kept on growing.

I won't lie to you, some of my work is rather embarassing, especially the older stuff but it's all part of the learning process and necessary to realize what works and what doesn't. Something that sounds good in principle doesn't always mean it will look good even if the end result is exactly what was pictured on the drawing board. Some projects are very complex while others are vanilla and bland. Some projects I've designed right from the ground up while others I wasn't so involved in. Regardless, this is meant to be a complete history and archive of everything I've been a part of.

Two programs that I use frequently when making sites are Photoshop for each site layout and all the graphics along with Homesite for coding since I love to hand-code to really get into the nitty-gritty of the HTML.

Finally, in order to save server space, I've left out as much of the content on each site as possible that isn't essential, such as huge audio or video files or anything that just uselessly takes up space. :)
